Things are looking up
I picked up the posters before and the flyers are printed to. Exhibition wise things are looking up, even if there are only a few of us actually pulling our weight.
Saturday is the day for spreading the word around town about the exhibition. I’ve already received a few emails from the e-invites I sent out from people wishing us all the best etc. Some positive words to finish off the day.

Stressed in this heat makes you more stressed!
Uni this morning for the exhibition meeting. FIVE people including myself turned up, FIVE!! I wasn’t in the best of moods at all today. You have team players a category I fall under and then you have people who aren’t team players and alot of people on my course fall into that category. It’s a shame because they’re missing out but it’s also frustrating as they are leaving all the work for those who actually turn up and involved in this group exhibition.
Today’s upload. A few days ago I got a call about my two charms I had ordered are now instock so here’s a photo of my completed pandora leather bracelet, Happy Emma.

Back to exhibition stuff
After a fun weekend it’s back to exhibition work. I did sit outside for alittle bit and work on my none existing tanning. My hair colour looks like it’s getting a little lighter. Today’s upload isn’t really anything special. My top matched my moonstone ring nicely and my hair was doing what is was being told to do today.

Day 148/366
Sunshine and some familiar faces.
Today I visited the studio and had a wee screening of my video for my exhibition. I’ve posted a trailer on vimeo. (don’t think i’ve posted it on here though, but I will do)
The AudioKidZ are away in LA when the exhibition opens this June so I promised i’d show them before they go away. So there were a few nervous laughs as they heard their voice on the screen but the overall comments were really good and i’m so pleased they all enjoyed it.
I had a little extra suprise for them too. I filmed a video for them in January but I don’t think they thought it was good enough. I said different and suggested you just need to edit it together well and it’ll look good. The video became forgotten about and I hate leaving things unfinished so I edited the video myself. I was a little nervous in showing them beacuse they like to edit and be creative themselves with their videos but the video got the thumb up and was posted on youtube an hour later! (I’ll post that up too).
Finally me and my brother were invited round for a barbeque (a bit of a goodbye, see you in 2 months barbeque) and it was a very funny evening. We ended up on the kids playground and had obstacle course races needless to say there was plenty of laughter.

Before my ankles burnt
So another hot, hot day in rainy England. To hot to do anything so todays upload is from my phone. My parents are Scottish and that means the same genes which concludes to the fact that I burnnnn. I’m not as burnt as my brother was back in 2010 when we went to LLandundno for the day (long story) but still i’m a little on the red side. The thing is though it’s not straight forward burning. I burn in the most wired places. i.e bike rides in the summer…I would come back with burt hands…who burns on their hands!?
So yeah after todays tanning session attempted tanning session my ankles are a glorious red colour.

Discovered I’m not all that good at pub quizzes.
Tonight as a last chance to fundraise some cash for our exhibition a student from the group arrange a pub quiz night. Not many showed up but those who did had a fun night. The team I was in won both games! I wasn’t all that good with the questions and I used my age as an excuse. The quiz master had a good 30 years on me and I think he could have come up with more questions I was likly to be able to answer if i’m honest haha. I did shine in one area though…The last game was a picture game and the aim was to name as many famous photographs with the photographer who took them. 5 years of studying photography paid off :)
Oh and almost forgot the picture upload. After the quiz a few of us went into town and had a few drinks. I think the guy on the door who stamped us all was more tipsy then the crowd waiting to go in. The stamp is not exactly on my hand is it.

It just keeps getting hotter
Bit of sunbathing in the garden with Craig and Grace this afternoon. I was being a pest and snapping away. This is a photo of Craig’s wig lit up with this ridiculous hot sun. On a good note I haven’t burnt yet :)
